Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones, who is on the disabled list and out for the season, was ejected from tonight's game in Florida. Home plate umpire Doug Eddings ejected Jones, presumably for arguing balls and strikes from the dugout. Jones protested a pitch to Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez that Eddings called a ball. "He's a guy who has an inconsistent strike zone," Jones said of Eddings after the game, a 2-0 Braves victory.
