The Atlanta Braves will host Major League Baseball's Civil Rights Games in 2011-12, team president John Schuerholz announced Wednesday at the King Center. No dates or opponents have been set for the games, which will be played during the next two regular seasons. The 2009-10 games were held in Cincinnati.

The Atlanta Braves broke through for four runs in the seventh against the Washington Nationals' star rookie Stephen Strasburg's on their way to a 5-0 victory Monday. Strasburg (2-2) had no help from his offense as he gave up six hits and four runs, three earned, in 6 1-3 innings. The Nationals have scored one run in Strasburg's last three starts.

Braves rookie Jason Heyward, in a 1-for-16 slump that has his batting average at its lowest point since the end of April, is not in Saturday's lineup.
